 <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Neodymium is the highest strength magnet material available.&lt;/strong&gt; It is very brittle and usually coated or contained in an assembly (see below) because of this and poor corrosion resistance. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;High power &lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Low maximum temperature &lt;/strong&gt;100 degrees C (although alloys can made that operate up to 180 degrees C)&lt;strong&gt;  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Poor corrosion resistance  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Very brittle&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;</description>
