Samarium cobalt (rare earth cobalt)

Samarium cobalt has a magnetic strength between that of cast alnico / ferrite and that of neodymium. Extremely brittle so is usually contained in an assembly, Samarium cobalt features:

• High power
• Maximum operating temperature of 250-300 degrees C
