Our range of bespoke Ditch Magnets use powerful neodymium magnetic technology to remove ferrous milled iron particles from drilling mud. The high performance magnet assemblies removes fine particles which are not extracted by the shale shaker or downhole filtration thereby protecting essential components such as mud pumps, drill pipes and shale shaker screens.
Ideal for installation in the mud return line or shale shaker discharge, these high performance magnet assemblies extract fine particles which are generated by drill or drill casing wear. They should be fitted across the entire span of the ditch to ensure all of the mud is exposed to the magnetic field to ensure maximum collection.
