The HPC600/P magnet is a high performance, pneumatically switchable permanent magnet, ideal for robot and manipulator applications.
This magnet generates 700kgs of clamping force from a small footprint, the level of clamping force normally associated with an Electronically Switchable Permanent Magnet. It's generally used on applications up to a SWL of 200kgs as an individual unit (multiple units can be used).

Ideal application: lifting material thicker than 10mm with a relatively flat surface
Easily integrated into pick and place equipment and manipulators. A simple air ON / OFF pulse is all that is required for switching. The HPC600/R is a manual ratchet switched version of this magnet.
Lift in safetyThe magnet material inside the unit is permanently magnetic. Air is only required to turn the unit itself on and off and does not affect the magnet material. This means if the unit is holding a load and the air supply fails, the load remains held.
