Controller


The control system offers the following as standard:

  • Illuminated push buttons - to indicate the magnetic state of the system
  • Remote switching facility - the controller can be interfaced to a PLC or operated by remote switches
  • Output interlocks - confirm the magnetic state of the system to an automated cell
  • Current sensing / safety circuit - the lights / interlocks will not operate if the magnet has not been fully magnetised
  • Operating voltage - 240Vac
  • IP rating - 54

Lift in safety


The magnet material in the magnet is permanent. An electric current is only required for switching, so if the electricity fails while a load is being held the load stays held. In addition, safety circuity indicates the status of the magnet to the user and to an automated cell, and can be used to stop machinery from operating until the magnets are fully magnetised.
