- The Optimag E is available in a range of four sizes
- This range is designed to clamp and lift thicker material (15mm and above dependent upon size)
- Optimag E is a modular system where either one or multiple magnets can be controlled from a single controller
- Additional magnets can be added to your system at a later date as required (until the maximum current rating of the controller is reached)
The control system offers the following as standard: -
- Illuminated push buttons - indicate the magnetic state of the system
- Remote switching facility - the controller can be interfaced to a PLC or operated by remote switches.
- Output interlocks - confirm the magnetic state of the system to an automated cell.
- Current sensing / safety circuit - the lights/interlocks will not operate if the magnet has not been fully magnetised.
- Operating voltage - 240Vac
- IP rating - IP55
The Optimag E has no moving parts so is maintenance free.
Lift in safety
The magnet material in the Optimag E is permanently magnetic. The electric current is only required to switch the Optimag E on or off. The Optimag, once energised or de-energised, will not change state unless it recives another signal. So if the electricity fails while a load is being held the load stays held. In addition, safety circuity indicates the status of the magnet to the user and to an automated cell, and can be used to stop machinery from operating until the magnets are fully magnetised.
