 Uses RZ detector head (as Rapid 4000 & 5000 detectors) but with a rejection swivel tunnel instead of the standard pneumatic ejection flap. Use for easily damaged products e.g. dried pasta, cornflakes, cereal, noodles and nuts etc.
With detection sensitivity starting at 0.3mm this detector is very popular in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Hygienic design means it can be cleaned using detergents etc.
Can be supplied with the GENIUS control system.
Product wastage can be reduced by installing a high-intensity easy-clean grid magnet above this unit. This will remove contamination from the product, reducing the amount of contaminated project the rejected.
