With detection sensitivity starting at 0.3mm this detector is suitable for the plastics and chemical industries. The flap design means this detector should not be used in food or pharmaceutical environments unless processing rice, grain etc.
For these applications use the Rapid 5000 . It has a hygienic construction and can be fully washed. Can be supplied with the GENIUS control system.
Product wastage can be reduced by installing a high-intensity easy-clean grid magnet above this unit. This will remove contamination from the product.
